Meetup Group Celebrating 1 Year of Flora and Fauna Experiences Meetups!
What a summer! From celebrating our first Meetup anniversary to exploring national parks and launching our first Vegan Market in Longmont, Q3 was filled with experiences that remind us why Flora + Fauna exists.
As we head into the final quarter of 2026, we’re excited to share what we’ve been up to and what’s coming next.
Celebrating One Year of Our Meetup Community
In July, we celebrated one year of the Flora + Fauna Experiences Meetup group!
We returned to Woods Quarry Loop Trail, where it all began. Our very first hike brought together just four people. One year later, 14 people joined us for our anniversary hike!
Throughout the quarter, we continued connecting through hikes, vegan restaurant meetups, activities, animal advocacy, and opportunities to support local sanctuaries and vegan businesses.

Vegan Adventures in Joshua Tree + Zion
This quarter, our founder, Jamie, also went on adventures through Joshua Tree and Zion with Vegan Basecamp!
Exploring incredible landscapes alongside like-minded travelers is exactly what compassionate travel is about. It’s an opportunity to experience nature, discover new places, enjoy vegan food, and connect with people who share our values.
These experiences continue to inspire the adventures we’re creating through Flora + Fauna.

Our First Vegan Market Raised $200 for Luvin Arms!
September marked the launch of our first Vegan Market in Longmont, and our community showed up!
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to shop, enjoy vegan food, support local businesses, and connect with fellow animal lovers.
Together, we raised $200 for Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary!
Our goal is to create a space where vegan businesses can thrive, our community can grow, and together we can make a difference for animals.
And we’re just getting started.
